performance

A15 Bionic, 794K AnTuTu scoreThe six-core CPU (2x3.23 GHz + 4x1.82 GHz) and 5-core GPU handle everyday apps, photography tools, and games like Honkai Star Rail or Call of Duty at high settings without stutter.

display

120Hz OLED, 1200 nits peakThe 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR screen scrolls smoothly through lists and feeds, and reaches 1200 nits at peak brightness, making it legible in direct sunlight with sunglasses on.

camera

12MP main, 3x optical zoom, LiDARThe f/1.5 main lens (1/1.7-inch sensor, 1.9µm pixels) and 3x f/2.8 telephoto let you frame close-ups of distant subjects and portraits in low light, while the LiDAR scanner adds depth for portrait mode and spatial scanning.

battery

3095 mAh, about 18 to 20 hours mixed useApple rates endurance at 85h; with moderate screen-on time (email, browsing, messaging), expect roughly one full day or slightly longer between charges.

charging

20W wired, 50% in 30 minutesA USB-PD charger pushes half a charge in 30 minutes; wireless tops out at 15W (MagSafe or standard Qi), making it significantly slower.

durability

IP68, Ceramic Shield glassThe phone is dust-tight and waterproof to 6 meters for 30 minutes, so accidental submersion in a pool or splashes at a beach pose no risk; the ceramic-toughened front and stainless steel frame resist scratches and minor drops.

connectivity

5G (Sub6), WiFi 6, dual SIMThe A2638/A2639 variants support 5G bands 1–3, 5, 7–8, 12, 20, 25, 28, 30, 38, 40–41, 48, 66, 77–79 (SA/NSA), WiFi 6, and both Nano-SIM + eSIM or dual Nano-SIM for work and personal lines.

GoSolo Verdict

The iPhone 13 Pro is a compact, well-built flagship with excellent cameras and a 120Hz OLED screen, but its 3095 mAh battery and slow wireless charging are notably weak for 2021. It's a solid phone for those who value quality and durability over raw endurance, though the battery drawback matters more now than it did at launch.

Strengths · 4

120Hz OLED display is sharp and responsive at 460 ppi, with 1200 nits peak brightness making it genuinely usable in direct sunlight without glare
Camera system balances a capable f/1.5 main lens, 3x optical zoom, and LiDAR depth scanner—strong for portraits and low-light work without the megapixel inflation of rivals
A15 Bionic is still capable for heavy apps and gaming; it handles ProRes video and Dolby Vision at 60fps without thermal throttling
Compact size (204g, 6.1 inches) with IP68 durability and stainless steel frame feels premium and survives daily wear

Trade-offs · 3

3095 mAh battery delivers only about one full day of moderate use; the 20W wired and 15W wireless charging are noticeably slower than competitors offering 65W+ wired and 30W+ wireless by 2021
6GB RAM is minimal even for 2021, with no microSD slot limiting upgrade paths without sacrificing performance or buying a larger storage tier upfront
Telephoto is 3x, not 5x or 10x; for a Pro-branded device, this zoom range feels conservative next to Android flagships offering deeper reach
