GoSolo Verdict

The Honor X9e s couples a large AMOLED display with solid build durability and strong battery endurance at a fair 360 EUR price, but the mid-range Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset and modest 50MP camera setup leave it feeling functional rather than ambitious for its class.

Strengths · 4

Large 6.79-inch AMOLED with 120Hz refresh, 1800 nits peak brightness, and sharp contrast—genuinely bright enough for daylight outdoor use
8560 mAh battery with robust IP68/IP69K durability and drop resistance to 2.5m, rare resilience features in this tier
Slim 7.8mm profile and 196g weight keep it manageable despite the large screen and heavy battery
50MP wide camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS handles daylight and indoor shots competently

Trade-offs · 3

Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 is capable but not fast—fine for browsing and messaging, but demanding games and multitasking will show the strain
5MP ultrawide is weak even by mid-range standards; it's more a checkbox than a usable lens
No microSD slot and only 256GB base storage limits flexibility for heavy media users
