GoSolo Read / what it means6 takeaways

performance

Exynos 990, 8GB RAMThe chipset runs demanding Android apps and games with moderate settings smoothly, though sustained load (like 30+ minutes of gaming) will thermal-throttle before flagships of that year.

display

6.7 inch, 393 ppi, 1080×2400Sharp text and icons on the large screen, but lower resolution than rivals at this size means very slight pixelation at arm's length; Super AMOLED blacks and HDR10+ colours are strong.

battery

4300 mAh, about 1 day moderate useA full day's mix of email, browsing, and calls is realistic; heavy gaming or outdoor video work drains it by evening without a charge.

charging

25W wired, roughly 60–90 minutes fullSlower than many contemporaries in 2020; 15W wireless is there if you have a pad, but the 4.5W reverse wireless to charge another phone is marginal.

camera

64MP telephoto, 3× hybrid zoom, OISThe 3× magnification with optical stabilisation holds shots steady when zooming in on a distant subject, but it's hybrid (not pure optical), so crops show grain above 3×.

durability

IP68, Gorilla Glass 5, stylusSurvives accidental submersion to 1.5m for half an hour, and the bundled stylus with 26ms latency makes note-taking responsive; plastic back is less robust than metal.

GoSolo Verdict

The Note20 is a large, practical writing phone with reliable zoom and all-day battery, held back by slow charging, plastic build, and an Exynos chip that throttles under load. It's a solid 2020 device for note-takers who don't mind waiting for the battery to top up.

Strengths · 4

64MP telephoto with 3x hybrid OIS zoom—holds subjects steady without pure optical limitation at 3x
Stylus with 26ms latency and IP68 rating make the writing experience responsive and durable against submersion
Super AMOLED display with HDR10+ renders deep blacks and vivid colour across the 6.7-inch screen
All-day battery for moderate use (email, browsing, calls) without mid-afternoon charge panic

Trade-offs · 3

25W wired charging is slow for 2020; rivals at this price and era already offered 40–65W, adding 1.5+ hours to a full charge
Exynos 990 thermal-throttles after 30+ minutes of sustained gaming or heavy load, trailing Snapdragon equivalents in sustained performance
Plastic back feels cheap next to the glass front, and no microSD card slot means you're stuck with 256GB
