display

6.78", 4500 nits, 144Hz AMOLEDThe 4500-nit peak brightness and 144Hz refresh rate mean sharp text and smooth scrolling even in bright sunlight, and the AMOLED contrast (5000000:1) gives dark areas true depth.

performance

Dimensity 6400, Mali-G57 GPUThe 8-core 2.5GHz chip with Mali-G57 handles mid-range gaming (Genshin Impact on medium settings) and everyday apps without stuttering, but will struggle with high-end titles at high frame rates.

battery

5160mAh, roughly 1.5 days typical useThe capacity suggests about 1.5 days of mixed use (calls, messaging, some video), or about 6 to 8 hours of continuous screen-on time depending on brightness and app load.

durability

IP64, Gorilla Glass 7iIP64 protects against dust and brief splashes (not full submersion), while Gorilla Glass 7i resists common drops and scratches, though the 5.95mm profile is exceptionally thin and prone to frame flex.

storage

128GB, 8GB RAM, fast storageThe 8GB RAM handles multiple apps in memory, and 128GB is enough for apps and moderate photo/video storage before you need to move files to cloud or external media.

GoSolo Verdict

The Pova Slim 5G is a thin, bright phone for everyday use that nails the fundamentals: a large AMOLED display with punchy brightness, a light frame, and a battery that gets through a full day. The Dimensity 6400 is pedestrian, and the camera is serviceable but uninspired, so this is a device for people who value form and display over performance or creative imaging.

Strengths · 4

6.78-inch AMOLED display peaks at 4500 nits and runs 144Hz, making scrolling smooth and text sharp in full sunlight
6mm thickness and 156g weight make it genuinely pocket-friendly for a phone this size
5160mAh battery sustains a full day of typical use without aggressive power-saving
IP64 rating and Gorilla Glass 7i front offer everyday durability without the weight penalty of heavier phones

Trade-offs · 3

Dimensity 6400 is entry-level even for mid-range 2025 phones; do not expect smooth high-end gaming or sustained heavy multitasking
50MP main camera lacks a telephoto or ultra-wide option, limiting versatility and producing only ordinary shot-to-shot consistency
No charging wattage listed in specs, which is unusual and suggests 45W or slower—typical at this price but slower than rivals offering 66W to 120W
