GoSolo Verdict

An 8.8-inch tablet built for gaming and media with a 165Hz AMOLED display, flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and active cooling—but held back by a weak camera setup and lack of cellular. For the price and positioning, it is a solid Android gaming tablet that does not quite justify the cost against rivals with better all-round features.

Strengths · 4

165Hz AMOLED display with 1600 nits brightness and true-to-spec color, exceptional for tablet media and gaming visuals
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with active cooling means sustained performance for graphically demanding games without thermal throttling
Thin and light at 298g and 5.7mm, genuinely portable for a tablet this size
Fast storage (UFS 4.1) and up to 16GB RAM options ensure smooth multitasking and app loading

Trade-offs · 3

13MP rear and 8MP front cameras are thin for a tablet at this price, especially next to rivals offering 50MP+ setups
9020 mAh battery sounds large but offers only middling endurance at typical use rates; 66W charging is slow relative to modern Android standards
No cellular connectivity or GPS limits its usefulness away from Wi-Fi and rules out mobile data for on-the-go work
