This review is based on Oppo’s published specifications and public benchmark data for the Oppo Pad 3 Pro, and the rating is spec-based. GoSolo does not physically test devices; where we estimate real-world behaviour such as battery life or charge time, we say so. How we rate phones.

Overview

The Oppo Pad 3 Pro is a high-end Android tablet with flagship performance, a bright 13.2-inch 144Hz screen, and a 67W charge that refills quickly—solid all-rounder for work and media on Wi-Fi. The weak camera system and lack of cellular connectivity limit its versatility, and it costs more than rivals with similar specs.

Design & build

At 672 grams and 5.9mm thin, this tablet punches above its weight class for comfort. The aluminum frame and back feel sturdy without being premium—you won't mistake it for a luxury object, but it will survive day-to-day use. The 13.2-inch footprint is substantial; one-handed use is possible but not natural for more than a few minutes. Stylus and keyboard support are built in, though neither comes in the box. The color options (Gold, Brown, Purple) are tasteful if a bit muted.

Display

The 13.2-inch 2120 x 3000 LCD is the real centerpiece here. At 315 ppi density, text and images are sharp; the 144Hz refresh rate makes scrolling through documents and web pages noticeably smoother than the 60Hz tablets most people own. Brightness peaks at 1000 nits, which means it stays readable in direct sunlight—a genuine strength for outdoor use. Color reproduction is neutral and accurate, typical of LCD. The 87.6% screen-to-body ratio leaves modest bezels, practical if you hold it often. Against iPad Pro or Galaxy Tab S models, the brightness and refresh rate are competitive; the LCD won't match an OLED's contrast, but for a work-focused tablet at this price, it delivers.

Performance

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is flagship silicon for 2026. It handles demanding games like Genshin Impact at high settings without frame drops, and heavy multitasking—splitting screen between video and document editing, running multiple apps—feels effortless. The Adreno 840 GPU is powerful enough that gaming performance is not a bottleneck at this tablet's resolution. 12GB of RAM in the mid-tier is sufficient; 16GB in the top model offers headroom if you regularly keep dozens of apps in memory. Storage uses UFS 4.1, which is modern and fast. For productivity work, photo editing, and casual gaming, this tablet will not slow you down for years.

Software

ColorOS 16 on Android 16 is Oppo's take on stock Android. It runs cleanly without heavy bloatware, though there are a few Oppo apps pre-installed. Updates and security patches generally roll out promptly on Oppo tablets. The interface scales well to the large screen and supports multi-window mode, which matters for productivity. Nothing standout here compared to Samsung's DeX or Apple's iPadOS, but nothing to avoid either—it is functional and stays out of your way.

Camera

This is where the Pad 3 Pro stumbles. A 13MP rear camera and 8MP front sensor are weak for a flagship tablet at this price. Daylight shots lack fine detail; colors are washed, and dynamic range is limited compared to what rivals offer. Low-light performance is poor—expect noise and blur. Video tops out at 4K 30fps, which is adequate but not competitive with higher-frame-rate options elsewhere. If you take tablets seriously for photography or video calls, this one underwhelms. For casual snaps and video conferencing, it works, but do not expect it to replace your phone.

Battery & charging

The 13,380 mAh battery delivers roughly 12 to 14 hours of mixed use—browsing, streaming video, light work. Heavy gaming or video editing will cut that to 8 to 10 hours. For a work tablet at this size, that is solid. The 67W charging refills from empty in roughly 50 to 70 minutes, which is fast by tablet standards. There is no wireless charging, which is standard for Android tablets but worth noting if you are used to phone convenience. Over a year or two, the battery will degrade like any lithium cell, but Oppo tablets have a track record of holding up.

Value & verdict

At around 540 EUR, the Pad 3 Pro is expensive for what it delivers. The display and performance are excellent, and the charge speed is competitive. But the camera system is genuinely poor for a flagship tablet, and rivals at this price offer similar performance with better optics and, in some cases, cellular connectivity or lower cost. If you spend most of your time on this tablet for work, media, and games on Wi-Fi and do not care about the camera, it is a capable machine. If you want an all-rounder that shoots decent photos or need occasional mobile data, look elsewhere. The iPad Pro 11 or 13 costs more but offers ProMotion and better cameras; the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is often cheaper and includes S Pen and DeX productivity features.

Verdict

This tablet suits people who value a smooth, bright screen and fast performance for work and media on Wi-Fi, and who are willing to live without cellular or great cameras. Anyone expecting a versatile all-in-one device or needing occasional mobile connectivity should consider a cheaper alternative or step up to an iPad Pro."
