GoSolo Read / what it means7 takeaways

performance

Apple A19, AnTuTu 2.1MThe hexa-core A19 with 5-core GPU (AnTuTu 2.1M) handles most games and apps smoothly, including demanding titles at high settings, though sustained heavy gaming may trigger thermal throttling after 15-20 minutes.

display

120Hz OLED, 3000 nits peakThe 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR at 3000 nits peak and 1206×2622 resolution is readable in direct sunlight and scrolls smoothly, and the 120Hz refresh makes everyday swiping feel responsive.

battery

3692 mAh, about 17-18 hours typicalThe 3692 mAh cell with an active use score of 15 hours suggests roughly 17 to 18 hours of mixed daily use before needing a charge, depending on screen brightness and 5G usage.

charging

25W wired, 50% in 20 minutesThe 25W wired charger reaches 50 percent in about 20 minutes and roughly 35 to 45 minutes to full; wireless MagSafe is slower at 30 minutes to 50 percent.

camera

48MP wide, 48MP ultrawide, f/1.6The dual 48MP setup (f/1.6 wide with sensor-shift OIS, f/2.2 120° ultrawide) captures sharp detail in daylight and handles low light reasonably well with its wide aperture and optical stabilization.

durability

IP68, Ceramic Shield 2, Mohs 5IP68 rating allows submersion to 6m for 30 minutes, and Ceramic Shield 2 (Mohs hardness 5) resists everyday scuffs and drops better than standard glass.

connectivity

5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0Wide 5G band support (Sub6 and NSA) covers most networks globally, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) offers faster home and office speeds, and Bluetooth 6.0 improves range and power efficiency for accessories.

GoSolo Verdict

The iPhone 17 is a well-built 6.3-inch flagship with a bright 120Hz OLED screen and a capable A19 chip, but it's held back by modest battery capacity and 25W charging that feels incremental for 2025. For the price, it delivers a solid everyday experience without any standout advantage.

Strengths · 4

120Hz LTPO OLED display with 3000 nits peak brightness makes scrolling smooth and outdoor visibility excellent
Dual 48MP camera system with f/1.6 wide aperture and sensor-shift OIS performs well in low light
A19 chip handles demanding tasks and gaming without stuttering, though sustained load may warm the device
IP68 durability and Ceramic Shield 2 offer solid protection from water and drops

Trade-offs · 3

25W wired charging is slow compared to rivals hitting 50W+ at this price point
3692 mAh battery barely lasts a full day with moderate to heavy use, especially on 5G
No camera telephoto lens—ultrawide is f/2.2 and narrow, limiting composition options
