GoSolo Verdict

The Honor X80i is a lightweight, long-battery midrange phone with a sharp AMOLED display and capable everyday performance, but its camera and charging lag behind rivals at €250. It suits buyers who prioritize screen quality and all-day runtime over fast charging and zoom reach.

Strengths · 4

AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh, excellent brightness (2000 nits HDR), and tight pixel density at 434 ppi give video and text a genuinely sharp, fluid look that rivals phones above its price
7000 mAh battery and efficient Dimensity chipset deliver real all-day use without hunting for a charger, a practical edge for work and travel
Featherweight at 185g with slim 7.3mm profile and IP66 water/dust protection—built to pocket comfortably and survive rain and light drops
Clean software stack (Android 16, MagicOS 10) without visible bloat, and NFC for contactless payments are solid for the price tier

Trade-offs · 3

50MP main camera tops out at 1080p video and lacks any zoom module, leaving you without reach or cinematic recording that midrange rivals increasingly offer
No charging wattage specified in specs, and the battery is large enough that recharge time is likely slow compared to rivals hitting 65W and above at this price
Dimensity 6500 Elite is competent but entry-level for 2026; heavy workloads and newer games will stutter where flagship chips glide smoothly
