display

6.84-inch LTPO OLED, 120HzThe 1320×2856 resolution and 460 ppi render text and photos clearly, while 120Hz refresh makes scrolling noticeably smoother than 60Hz phones; LTPO adjusts the refresh rate down when static content is on screen to conserve battery.

battery

6500mAh, roughly 1 day moderate useWith average browsing and messaging, expect about 18 to 22 hours; heavy video streaming or gaming will drop that to 12 to 16 hours.

charging

100W wired, about 25 to 35 minutes to fullThe 100W SuperCharge significantly cuts wait time compared to standard 30W chargers, and 50W wireless charging offers a slower backup if you need a top-up over 45 to 60 minutes.

performance

Kirin 9010S, 12 cores at 2.5GHzThis mid-range chipset handles daily tasks and casual games smoothly, but demanding 3D titles at high settings will see frame drops; it sits below flagship chips in raw compute.

durability

IP68 and IP69, Kunlun GlassIP68 covers submersion to 2 meters for 30 minutes, IP69 adds high-pressure water jets; Kunlun Glass (Huawei's proprietary armor) resists scratches, though real-world drop protection depends on frame material (not specified).

storage

256GB, 512GB, or 1TB optionsThe three tiers cover light users, mixed media, and professionals respectively; 12GB RAM ensures app switching remains fluid across all three.

GoSolo Verdict

The Nova 15 Ultra is a big, thin phone with a bright OLED screen and genuine 100W charging that justifies its 520 EUR price for someone who values display quality and speed at the outlet. The Kirin 9010S is no workhorse for demanding games, but handles everyday work without stuttering, and the 6500 mAh battery lasts a full day if you are not streaming video constantly.

Strengths · 4

6.84-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh, 4000 nits peak brightness, and 90.4 percent screen-to-body ratio—scrolling is visibly smoother than 60Hz rivals and outdoor visibility is genuinely strong
100W wired charging gets you from empty to full in around 25 to 35 minutes, meaningfully faster than the 65W or 80W standard in this price tier
6.5 mm thickness paired with 209 g weight keeps the phone slim and light enough not to feel like a brick in the pocket, rare for a 6.84-inch display
50 MP wide, 50 MP periscope with 3.7x optical zoom, and 50 MP ultrawide with a 118-degree field of view give you versatility without relying on digital crop alone

Trade-offs · 2

Kirin 9010S sits in the upper mid-range, not flagship: demanding 3D games will see frame drops at high settings, and you will feel the performance ceiling if you regularly push the hardware
HarmonyOS 6.0 remains geographically fragmented, with key Google services unavailable outside China or on workarounds, which complicates app ecosystem and cloud sync for users outside the mainland
