battery

5500mAh, about 1.5 days light useAt this capacity with a modest processor and typical usage, you'll likely stretch beyond a single day if you aren't streaming video all day; heavy users may hit the charger by evening.

display

6.74 inches, 720p, 90Hz refreshThe 570-nit peak brightness and 90Hz rate mean comfortable reading in outdoor sunlight and smooth scrolling, though the 720p resolution (260 ppi) will show individual pixels on text at arm's length.

performance

Unisoc T612, ARM Mali G57, 4GB RAMThis 8-core 1.8 GHz chipset handles basic apps, messaging, and casual games (Candy Crush, simple 3D titles on low settings), but will struggle with heavy gaming, video editing, or multiple demanding apps at once.

durability

IP64 rating, no glass frontSplashes and dust will not kill it, but full immersion or heavy rain at close range is not safe; the unspecified front material likely means no Gorilla Glass reinforcement against drops onto hard edges.

GoSolo Verdict

The Vivo Y04 is a straightforward budget phone with a large 6.74-inch screen and a 5500 mAh battery that'll handle a full day of light use. It's honest about its limits: the processor is entry-level, the camera is basic, and the 720p display shows pixels, but at €130 it's priced to match those constraints, making it sensible for buyers who prioritize screen size and endurance over pace.

Strengths · 4

5500 mAh battery with modest chipset should comfortably outlast a day of light tasks and media
6.74-inch IPS LCD with 90Hz refresh and 570-nit brightness keeps scrolling smooth and reading legible outdoors
IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H compliance offer real everyday durability against dust and water splashes without inflating the price
Dedicated microSDXC slot lets you expand storage without sacrificing the dual-SIM setup

Trade-offs · 2

Unisoc T7225 processor handles routine apps and messaging but chokes on heavy games, video editing, or multitasking with demanding apps
720p resolution at 260 ppi makes text noticeably grainy at normal viewing distance; fine for video or photos, awkward for reading
